SPIN's members jointly drafted comments in response to the Office of Budget and Management's request for information (RFI) for a proposed rule, Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance (OMB-2026-0034). We encourage others to do the same.

We hosted our first kick-off event by inviting speakers from groups working in the science-policy space at Caltech to share their experience. First, our newly revived group discussed the trip to Washington, D.C. that inspired us to become more civically active and engaged. We then hosted speakers from the Linde Center, the Caltech Y, and the community, who gave presentations and fielded audience questions in a post-talk panel.
